Yes. Each company can be on a different plan. You might put some clients on Essentials and others on Professional based on their needs.
Absolutely. Upgrade or downgrade any company's plan at any time. Changes take effect immediately, and billing is prorated.
Yes. Add-ons are billed per company, on top of the plan. Forex & Multi-Currency ($8/mo) and Inventory Management ($12/mo) can be enabled today. Payroll Management, Fixed Asset Register, Budgeting & Forecasting and Project Accounting cannot be added yet — still in development.
